Hello, everyone.

Over the past few days, I had a lot of people messaging me to ask about this. I decided that just answering on a one-to-one basis when asked isn't really efficient, since it just means most people at large will keep asking.

Yes, the saves have apparently broken with the latest update. While it's sad, it's not something that can be remedied. Broken saves usually happen when early code is modified or when I update my version of Ren'Py. The thing is, I can't keep from improving earlier code or running an ancient version of Ren'Py just to avoid save breaks. They will happen on occasion. It's just to be expected when you're playing an in-development project. I DO try my best to mitigate these issues, but backlogging most changes that could cause breaks and doing them all at once. That way we only get a break once in a blue moon instead of every month.

Still, I'm sorry for those that lost your saves. I know it's a chore and I really wish there was a way I could keep updating the game without risking issues like these every now and again, but it's just not the case. You guys will have to start over. Use the 'skip to next choice' option and keep skipping until you reach the point in the story where you had come to a halt. Once again, I'm sorry :/
