Good afternoon,
Hope you guys enjoy this update. As I mentioned on Patreon, this update for Shoichi doesn't change the bad path of the previous update, as that one would require a fully different direction. Hope you guys like it.
Important disclaimer: In case there is an issue that causes older player saves to stop working, there really is nothing that can be done about that. Sometimes, changes are made to the code that makes some/all old saves stop working and I can't avoid making them at times. If that happens, use the 'Skip to Next Choice' function (alongside Skip Unread if needed) to get to the point where you stopped.

well, how am i supposed to do with my life with a hanger like that?
I haven't read the novel in a while so i'm a little late to the sprite change party and i'd like to share with you all my reaction to seeing Shoichi.

You do not understand how much my heart hurts right now. The ticking of the clock to punctuate that moment of pure terror is perfect, I'm so attached to Shoichi and I felt my heart drop the second we entered the house as him because I had a feeling Takehiko would be there. But the revelation that he was by the window was just a punch to the gut. Not as much as the chapter ending there though, I will be watching for updates like a hawk!
Excellent writing, gorgeous visuals, and a story so gripping that I feel bereft until it continues.

(I didn't play the bad/okay route for Shoichi so I may not have enough knowledge for Haruki and Shoichi's convo)
Don't get me wrong, I like this FVN and my opinion is just a stupid disagreement, but like...
WTF was that Haruki and Shoichi convo??? I may have forgotten things, considering I only read every update of Shoichi and Haruki. But Haruki opening up for Shoichi not to leave the volleyball team is such a HUGE slap to my face. like honestly WTF WAS THAT?!? I can see him opening up just a little but NOT THAT BIG! I internally screamed. I guess that Haruki just admired Shoichi secretly and stuff but like cmon. we've only seen them being antagonistic to each other for the majority. THIS MUCH EMOTIONS ON HARUKI AND ITS NOT EVEN ON HIS FUCKING ROUTE WADDAFAK? You mean to tell me that we did all the work of trying to know him better to get a sliver of his true emotions on his route (imo) but THIS HAS HIM LOOKING LIKE HES IN LOVE OR SOMETHING AND ITS NOT EVEN US LIKE AHHHHHHHHH!!!
Sorry for having a tantrum here (I'm still crying over this) this is just a stupid opinion but please don't let this affect your work, It's a great update and I hope to see more! <3
haruki's gimmick is that he tries to play the tough guy act and tries to deny his "feelings" . But you can only act for so long before you break character and show the "true you". It has been shown before through both Haruki's and Shoichi's route that Haruki respects and admires Shoichi, he just doesn't want to show his emotions to the people around him because he thinks that makes him a " mushy person" or masks those feelings through insults. The news probably were so shocking to him that he broke character.
Haru is being a HUGE tsundere x)
Yet, i kinda saw something like "i will deny i admire him" in his own route. Given that he and mc knew each other for a very short time and he opened up, means that he IS emotional but doesn't show this.
Same with volleyball team. He insults everyone in the team, acts like an asshole and... keeps being there, keeps playing, even threw a thantrum when they lost a match. Meaning that he cares
(about "looking like hes inlove" - Kiga hinted that Haru indeed admires Sho. My guess is that he has a crush too, though its debatable. BUT i wouldnt be surprised if in Jun's or Kei's route they will end up dating or hooking up xD)
Wow, developer, you're doing a really great job of making the story goes even more complicated for Shoichi (this is compliment), can't wait for the next update , love your work 🤭

I fuckin' knew it! I was dreading this all day, because I knew this was goin' to happen. The second they kissed in front of his house I knew his father was there.
I have no reason to believe this isn't going to get bad, ugly, and criminal.
And Sho's father doesn't give me ANY assurance that he is not going to dial up his homophobic dial to eleven and go on some homophobe rant bullshit. I do not trust that guy at all.
well, with that out of my chest, seeing Haruki being all cute and blushing while talkin to Shoichi was really adorable, even if he is the biggest tsundere in this game. those two dogs getting closer makes my heart happy.

Played through A and B last night and what a cliffhanger ending, will be interested how this will end up. 🤔🤔
We still don't have confirmation on WHY Tekehiko and Sachiko divorced, but Hitoka did alude/hint to infidelity on Takehiko's side (I think?) or did he go find someone else to date immediately after the divorce?
Also I kinda expected this to happen for Shoichi, he was having it too easy so far depending on what route you end up in. And thank you for writing this route, he's kinda the normal one tbh like IRL relationships are all different and have nuances of their own
If you choose "Agree with him for now" during Day 22, Shoichi will talk more about the reason why his parents are divorced.

On the 30th day, before thier first "official date" Aki revealed that he knew about mc dating Sho. BUT few days after (36-7th, give or take) both him and MC acted like that conversation havent happened. Is it just me or its really strange?
I mean, at first i saw "we talking about you two dating for a while", then MC said "i knew you were hiding something!" few days after, sounds like total amnesia to me x)
oh yeah, i noticed that too, I was like "bud didn't he tell you that already?"
my guess is that's something route dependent or the author just forgot, happens from time to time.
Oh, crap...

I have a problem where when i continue where I've left off and transition to the kitchen on day 38 the game goes back to the main menu. I've tried making a new game and everything, but it still goes to the main menu. Any suggestions?
